Brighton vs Wolves

There is a plethora of reasons as to why Wolves are bottom of the Premier League but the one which cost them a valuable point against Manchester City on Sunday was their inability to defend set-pieces.

John Stones’ 95th-minute header marked the seventh set-piece goal Wanderers have conceded in the Premier League this season – no other side has shipped more from set-plays.

Brighton, whose four set-piece goals scored ranks as the joint-highest tally in the division, will look to exploit that deficiency and Lewis Dunk could be a big beneficiary.

The Seagulls skipper has scored twice against Wolves in the Premier League - the joint most he has managed against any side in the league - and he is a big price to add to that tally against an aerially weak Wanderers rearguard.

Chelsea vs Newcastle

Bruno Guimaraes is the most fouled player in the Premier League this term, being brought down on 29 occasions, so siding with a combative Chelsea midfielder to pick up a card against Newcastle could provide a route to profit at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

Luckily, there are not many midfielders more combative than Moises Caicedo in the division. The Ecuadorian has picked up two yellows this term but he really could have had more, given only seven players in the Premier League have committed more fouls than his 15.

Caicedo has been booked in his last two appearances against the Magpies and could fall foul of referee Simon Hooper, who averages five yellows per game this term.

Arsenal vs Liverpool

The weekend’s big match sees two of the title challengers go head-to-head and each will be looking to their star men to get them over the line.

With Martin Odegaard injured and Bukayo Saka doubtful, Kai Havertz may be the talisman for the Gunners.

The German forward has netted four goals in six matches and rates a decent bet to find the net, while it may also be worth keeping him onside in the cards stakes too.

Having committed 15 fouls in the league alone, Havertz must consider himself lucky not to have been booked in this season. A first card can’t be too far away given he was cautioned 11 times in the Premier League last term.

He was booked in both meetings with Liverpool last season, making this huge clash a prime candidate to provide the German’s first yellow of the campaign.
