Wolves vs Ipswich

Ipswich are on a disappointing run of just one goal in their last three games but they could not have asked for a much better fixture to rediscover their scoring touch than playing Wolves.

The hosts have the worst defensive record in the Premier League, conceding 38 times already this season, and the Tractor Boys will be hoping to take full advantage.

Leif Davis remains their key creative threat and has continued to produce eye-catching numbers despite his team’s struggles.

The left-back ranks in the top ten for expected assists at 3.2 and only Cole Palmer and Bukayo Saka have made more passes leading directly to a shot than his 36.

The 24-year-old registered 32 assists in his last two full campaigns and with better finishing from his teammates, he would have more than his tally of two for this term.

Side with Davis to add to his assist count against a porous Wolves defence.

Newcastle vs Leicester

With Wilfred Ndidi, Boubakary Soumare and Harry Winks all doubtful or suspended, Leicester may have to play Hamza Choudhury in the middle of the park at Newcastle.

The 27-year-old has played just 15 minutes of top-flight football this season and his ring-rust makes him a big contender for a card.

The midfielder could take some time to get up to the speed of this game and facing Bruno Guimaraes, the most fouled player in the league, is not ideal.

Choudhury may also get a hostile reception at St James’ Park as he was linked with a move to the club in the past and once put in a horror tackle in an EFL Cup game at this ground that saw him immediately substituted after the referee opted for a yellow card rather than red.

The midfielder was booked 13 times in his last full season at Watford and looks a likely contender to pick up a card.

Chelsea vs Brentford

Brentford are a big price to beat Chelsea on Sunday evening but they have won on their last three visits to Stamford Bridge and Bryan Mbeumo has a fine record against the Blues.

The Cameroonian has two goals and three assists in six meetings and is fancied to add to his tally of nine league goals and two assists this term.

The forward is on set-piece duties too and could produce something unexpected to fool former Bees set piece coach Bernardo Cueva, who was poached by Chelsea in the summer.
