Newcastle vs Liverpool predictions

Aaron Ashley predicts: Newcastle 0-2 Liverpool

Premier League leaders Liverpool have won 15 of their last 16 matches in all competitions, with their only dropped points in that period coming in a 2-2 draw at Arsenal.

Their remarkable run should continue with victory over Newcastle, who registered only one shot in Saturday's 1-1 draw at Crystal Palace.

Three of the Reds' last four wins, including against Real Madrid and Manchester City, have finished 2-0 and they may settle for a similar margin of victory at St James' Park.

Manchester City vs Nottingham Forest predictions

Aaron Ashley predicts: Manchester City 2-1 Nottingham Forest

Manchester City will be desperate to snap their seven-game winless streak and they could grind out victory over Nottingham Forest, who were beaten 3-0 at Arsenal on their last away league trip.

That said, Pep Guardiola's side are starved of confidence and have recorded only one clean sheet in 12 league outings.

Southampton vs Chelsea predictions

Aaron Ashley predicts: Southampton 1-3 Chelsea

Chelsea's only two defeats in the Premier League this season have come against Liverpool and Manchester City and they should have far too much quality for basement boys Southampton, who have taken just five points from 13 league outings.

The Blues have conceded in seven of their last eight league matches, though, while Southampton pushed Liverpool close in a 3-2 defeat in their last clash at St Mary's.

Everton vs Wolves predictions

Aaron Ashley predicts: Everton 0-2 Wolves

Wolves were beaten 4-2 at home to Bournemouth on Saturday, but they had triumphed 4-1 away to Fulham prior to that setback and may be able to make amends at Goodison Park.

Everton are on a five-game winless run in the Premier League and Sunday's 4--0 thrashing at Manchester United was the fourth game in a row in which they have failed to score.

Wolves may be able to muscle their way to maximum points against the toothless Toffees.

Arsenal vs Manchester United predictions

Aaron Ashley predicts: Arsenal 3-1 Manchester United

With Martin Odegaard back pulling the strings, Arsenal are beginning to go through the gears and they should come into their showdown with Manchester United full of belief following three straight wins and 13 goals scored.

The Red Devils will be looking to build on Sunday's 4-0 victory at home to Everton but this represents a huge hike in class for Ruben Amorim's men and they may be beaten in a high-scoring affair.

Aston Villa vs Brentford predictions

Aaron Ashley predicts: Aston Villa 2-2 Brentford

Aston Villa are going through a turbulent time in the Premier League, having won only once in eight games since the end of September, and they look vulnerable favourites against a Brentford side firmly on the up.

The Bees are up to eighth having collected ten points from their last five matches and they can battle their way to a draw against Villa, who have shared the spoils in their last three home league games.
