Arsenal vs Nottingham Forest predictions

Aaron Ashley predicts: 3-1 Arsenal

Having gone four league games without victory, it is imperative that Arsenal return to winning ways at home to Nottingham Forest and their quality should shine through at the Emirates. However, clean sheets have dried up for the Gunners, who have conceded in seven straight league games, and fifth-placed Forest are capable of making their presence felt.

Aston Villa vs Crystal Palace predictions

Aaron Ashley predicts: 1-1 draw

Aston Villa have won only one of their last six Premier League matches and they may have to settle for a point at home to Palace, who have drawn on league trips to Chelsea and Wolves this season. The Villans, meanwhile, have shared the spoils in their last two home league outings with Manchester United and Bournemouth.

Bournemouth vs Brighton predictions

Aaron Ashley predicts: 2-1 Bournemouth

Bournemouth have won three league games on the spin at the Vitality Stadium, accounting for Arsenal and Manchester City in back-to-back top-flight fixtures, and they can add Brighton to their growing list of scalps. The Seagulls have seen both teams score in eight of their last ten league assignments, however, and should make the Cherries work for their rewards.

Manchester City vs Tottenham predictions

Aaron Ashley predicts: 3-1 Manchester City

Manchester City have suffered successive Premier League defeats but they remain a formidable force at the Etihad, where they are unbeaten in 35 top-flight matches, having won 28 of those outings. Spurs have lost three of their last four league games on the road and, while they evidently carry an attacking threat, they may be outclassed.

Southampton vs Liverpool predictions

Aaron Ashley predicts: 2-0 Liverpool

Liverpool have seized an early initiative in the Premier League title race, having won nine of their opening 11 games, and they should have too much quality for rock-bottom Southampton, who have picked up only four points from their 11 outings. Six of the Reds’ nine league wins have been accompanied by a clean sheet and this trip to St Mary’s may follow suit.

Ipswich vs Manchester United predictions

Aaron Ashley predicts: 2-1 Manchester United

Ruben Amorim takes charge of his first Premier League game against Ipswich and he can make a winning start as Manchester United manager. That said, the Tractor Boys did upset Tottenham in their final fixture before the international break and they have netted in six of their last seven league games, suggesting that this could be entertaining encounter.
