Saturday's Premier League 3pm predictions
Arsenal vs Nottingham Forest predictions
Arsenal hit a sticky patch before the international break and the Gunners, nine points off the pace in the Premier League, resume their campaign with an awkward fixture at home to Nottingham Forest.
Mikel Arteta should have key men Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard available but Arsenal's defenders must be wary of the counter-attacking threat posed by Forest.
The Tricky Trees are level on points with the Gunners and their impressive away results include a 1-0 win at leaders Liverpool and draws at Brighton and Chelsea.
Nuno Espirito Santo's side suffered a 3-1 home defeat to Newcastle last time out and they may struggle to bounce back against an Arsenal side who have lost only two of their last 25 league fixtures at the Emirates.
The Gunners have had time to regroup after a tough run of away games at Newcastle, Inter and Chelsea and, having beaten Forest 2-1 in this fixture last season, they should be backed to grind out three points.
Arsenal vs Nottingham Forest team news
Arsenal: Ben White is sidelined until the new year and fellow defenders Takehiro Tomiyasu and Kieran Tierney are unlikely to feature. Bukayo Saka and Declan Rice should be available after missing England's Nations League fixtures and Riccardo Calafiori is fit again but Leandro Trossard is a doubt.
Nottingham Forest: Danilo and Ibrahim Sangare are injured and top scorer Chris Wood will be assessed after playing in New Zealand's World Cup qualifier in Samoa on Monday.
Arsenal vs Nottingham Forest predicted line-ups
Arsenal (4-3-3): Raya; Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Odegaard, Partey, Rice; Saka, Havertz, Martinelli
Nottingham Forest (4-2-3-1): Sels; Aina, Milenkovic, Murillo, Moreno; Dominguez, Yates; Elanga, Gibbs-White, Hudson-Odoi; Wood
Arsenal vs Nottingham Forest key stat
Only one of Arsenal's last six league and cup matches featured over 3.5 goals
Best bet for Arsenal vs Nottingham Forest:
Arsenal to win & under 3.5 goals
2pts 21-20 Coral, Ladbrokes

Aston Villa vs Crystal Palace predictions
Aston Villa manager Unai Emery has lost four games in a row for the first time in his coaching career, but his team are in a reasonable position and they will expect to bounce back with a victory over struggling Crystal Palace, who remain entrenched in the drop zone.
Injuries have played a part in Villa's recent wobble and it seems fairly certain that they will be below full strength on their return from the international break.
However, they have lots of potent attacking options, including star striker Ollie Watkins, who will feel good after his goal for England in the 3-0 success away to Greece.
Watkins should appreciate coming up against third-bottom Palace, who have not kept an away clean sheet this season.
Palace lost 2-0 at home to Fulham last time out and have looked nothing like the team which finished last season in such a vibrant manner.
They triumphed 2-1 away to a makeshift Villa in the EFL Cup fourth round but are going to be facing better players on Saturday, including a resurgent Watkins, who looks a solid bet to get on the scoresheet.
Aston Villa vs Crystal Palace team news
Aston Villa: Ezri Konsa and Amadou Onana have joined Jacob Ramsey and Boubacar Kamara on the sidelines but Matty Cash and Ross Barkley are available.
Crystal Palace: Will Hughes returns from suspension but Daichi Kamada starts a three-game ban. Eberechi Eze will not be risked and Eddie Nketiah, Matheus Franca, Chadi Riad and Adam Wharton are out but Chris Richards, Cheick Doucoure and Jefferson Lerma are available.
Aston Villa vs Crystal Palace predicted line-ups
Aston Villa (4-2-3-1): Martinez; Cash, Carlos, Mings, Digne; Kamara, Tielemans; Bailey, Rogers, McGinn; Watkins.
Crystal Palace (3-4-2-1): Henderson; Chalobah, Lacroix, Guehi; Munoz, Doucoure, Hughes, Mitchell; Sarr, Schlupp; Mateta.
Aston Villa vs Crystal Palace key stat
Ollie Watkins has topped the Villa scoring charts in each of his four seasons at the club
Best bet for Aston Villa vs Crystal Palace:
Ollie Watkins to score at any time
1pt 6-5 general

Bournemouth vs Brighton predictions
Bournemouth are on a fine run of form at home, beating Southampton, Arsenal and Manchester City in their last three Premier League matches on their own patch.
However, the Cherries slipped up in a 3-2 defeat at Brentford last time out and a high-scoring draw looks an appealing correct-score bet when they host Brighton.
The Seagulls went into the international break buzzing after a late comeback earned them a 2-1 victory over champions City and they had impressed in a 2-1 defeat at Liverpool on their most recent away trip.
Brighton's recent results include 2-2 draws with Nottingham Forest and Wolves as well as a 4-2 defeat at Chelsea and a 3-2 home win over Tottenham, who had led 2-0 at half-time.
Their EFL Cup campaign featured a 3-2 home win over Wolves and a 3-2 defeat to Liverpool and the goals should flow when they travel to Bournemouth.
Neither defence is convincing – the clubs traded 3-1 and 3-0 victories in last term's meetings – and an entertaining draw could be on the cards.
Bournemouth vs Brighton team news
Bournemouth: Antoine Semenyo and Dango Ouattara will be assessed but Alex Scott, Julian Araujo and Luis Sinisterra remain sidelined. Ryan Christie is suspended.
Brighton: Lewis Dunk could return after a calf problem but Jack Hinshelwood is a doubt and Ferdi Kadioglu is likely to miss out. Midfielders James Milner and Solly March are injured.
Bournemouth vs Brighton predicted line-ups
Bournemouth (4-2-3-1): Kepa; Smith, Zabarnyi, Senesi, Kerkez; Adams, Cook; Semenyo, Kluivert, Tavernier; Evanilson
Brighton (4-2-3-1): Verbruggen; Veltman, Van Hecke, Julio, Estupinan; O'Riley, Baleba; Adingra, Pedro, Mitoma; Welbeck
Bournemouth vs Brighton key stat
Both teams have scored in eight of Brighton's last nine matches in all competitions
Best bet for Bournemouth vs Brighton:
2-2 correct score
1pt 11-1 bet365, Hills

Everton vs Brentford predictions
Sean Dyche will put a perfect record on the line against Brentford, having won all three of his previous clashes with the Bees since taking over the reins at Everton.
He will be hopeful of maintaining that 100 per cent record given Brentford have lost all five of their Premier League away matches, dramatically throwing a one-goal lead away in stoppage time during their last road outing at Fulham.
However, while Brentford are still searching for a first away point of the season, starting quickly has certainly not been an issue for Thomas Frank’s men.
Brentford have opened the scoring in each of their last four away matches, netting first at Tottenham and both Manchester clubs in that impressive run.
The Bees could repeat that feat against the Toffees, who have only beaten strugglers Crystal Palace and Ipswich in the league and who were lucky to come away with a point at West Ham before the international break.
With red-hot attackers Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa expected to be fit, Brentford have more than enough talent to make a fast start on Merseyside.
Everton vs Brentford team news
Everton: Tim Iroegbunam, Youssef Chermiti, James Garner, Seamus Coleman and Armando Broja are out but Dwight McNeil and Jarrad Branthwaite are expected to start.
Brentford: Ethan Pinnock, Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa are expected to overcome knocks to feature, unlike Aaron Hickey, Kristoffer Ajer and Josh Dasilva who all remain out. Igor Thiago and Rico Henry may make their first appearances of the campaign.
Everton vs Brentford predicted line-ups
Everton (4-2-3-1): Pickford; Young, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Mykolenko; Gueye, Doucoure; Lindstrom, McNeil, Ndiaye; Calvert-Lewin
Brentford (4-3-3): Flekken; Van den Berg, Collins, Pinnock, Henry; Jensen, Norgaard, Janelt; Mbeumo, Wissa, Damsgaard
Everton vs Brentford key stat
Brentford have scored first in their last four away matches
Best bet for Everton vs Brentford:
Brentford to score first
1pt 6-5 bet365

Fulham vs Wolves predictions
A much-needed first league win of the season arrived for Wolves before the international break, but that familiar losing feeling may return thanks to a tricky trip to Craven Cottage.
Unlike their visitors, Fulham have enjoyed an excellent start to the season, sitting seventh in the table and just one point off the top four.
Their league position is not false by any means either, with just four teams accumulating more expected goals than Fulham’s 21.67 and only Liverpool conceding fewer expected goals than their 12.39.
The Cottagers have been good value for their results, suggesting they should have far too much for Wolves, who have gone 12 away games without a win.
However, Gary O’Neil’s side have at least scored in each of their last five away matches and they could help towards a high-scoring tally in the capital.
It is just as possible that Fulham cut loose against a side who have conceded 13 times in four away games, so take the safer option of over 2.5 alongside the home win instead of both teams to score.
Fulham vs Wolves team news
Fulham: Sasa Lukic has recovered from a shoulder injury but Harrison Reed is sidelined. Raul Jimenez and Andreas Pereira should feature despite returning late from international duty.
Wolves: Sasa Kalajdzic, Enso Gonzalez, Boubacar Traore and Yerson Mosquera are out while Hee-Chan Hwang, Pedro Lima and Santiago Bueno will be assessed.
Fulham vs Wolves predicted line-ups
Fulham (4-2-3-1): Leno; Tete, Andersen, Bassey, Robinson; Berge, Pereira; Iwobi, Smith Rowe, Nelson; Jimenez
Wolves (3-4-2-1): Sa; Bueno, Dawson, T Gomes; Semedo, Lemina, J Gomes, Ait-Nouri; Sarabia, Cunha; Strand Larsen
Fulham vs Wolves key stat
Wolves are winless in 12 away games, losing eight times in that run
Best bet for Fulham vs Wolves:
Fulham to win & over 2.5 goals
1pt 7-5 general
