Betting preview

Allan Saint-Maximin has been the one shining light for Newcastle this season and with Callum Wilson still sidelined, Magpies supporters will be desperate for him to maintain his strong start.

The tricky Frenchman has attracted plenty of interest all across Europe for his early-season performances and with confidence high, he should continue to thrive.

Saint-Maximin has had 11 shots from his five Premier League appearances this season, five of which have been on target, and he was rewarded with his second goal of the campaign in last Friday’s 1-1 draw with Leeds.

With two assists also to his name, Saint-Maximin is central to pretty much all of Newcastle’s positive play and quotes of 7-2 may underrate his chances of getting on the scoresheet again at Watford.

Leeds are plagued by injuries, particularly in defence, and a makeshift backline could place extra pressure on the shoulders of Liam Cooper against West Ham.

With Diego Llorente, Robin Koch and Pascal Struijk all absent and Luke Ayling a doubt, Cooper will be expected to man the defence and the presence of Michail Antonio won’t make things easy for him.

The Scottish international hasn’t always looked entirely comfortable in the Premier League and already has three yellow cards in five starts this season. He looks too big to go in the book again at 10-3 with Betfair.

Mohamed Salah has hit the ground running with five goals in six starts this season and at odds-against makes great appeal to make the net bulge at Brentford.

Liverpool’s Egyptian talisman, who also takes his team's penalties, has looked in excellent nick and should provide the Bees backline with their toughest test to date.
