Sunday's Premier League 2pm predictions
Everton vs Chelsea predictions
It has been a momentous week for Everton after the Friedkin Group completed its takeover of the club, bringing an end to Farhad Moshiri's tumultuous reign at Goodison Park.
However, it could be a while before the Toffees' fortunes turn around on the pitch.
Their latest opponents Chelsea have exceeded many expectations to lie second in the table, putting themselves firmly in the title picture with ten wins from their first 16 league games.
And the buoyant Blues should be confident of maintaining the pressure on leaders Liverpool against an Everton side who have failed to score in five of their last six games.
The exception in that sequence was a 4-0 win over Wolves and the Toffees did battle their way to a goalless draw against Arsenal last time. But the visit of Chelsea marks the start of a tough run of festive fixtures for Everton and their boss Sean Dyche, who shortened dramatically in the sack-race market after the takeover was confirmed.
Everton vs Chelsea team news
Everton: Loanee Armando Broja is unable to face his parent club while Timothy Iroegbunam and James Garner remain out. Dwight McNeil and Youssef Chermiti are doubts but Jarrad Branthwaite should feature.
Chelsea: Mykhailo Mudryk and Marc Cucurella are suspended. Wesley Fofana, Reece James, Benoit Badiashile and Omari Kellyman are absent and Romeo Lavia faces a late fitness test.
Everton vs Chelsea predicted line-ups
Everton (4-5-1): Pickford; Young, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Mykolenko; Harrison, Gueye, Mangala, Doucoure, Ndiaye; Calvert-Lewin
Chelsea (4-2-3-1): Sanchez; Caicedo, Tosin, Colwill, Gusto; Lavia, Enzo; Neto, Palmer, Sancho; Jackson
Everton vs Chelsea key stat
Everton have failed to score in eight of their 15 league games this season.

Leicester vs Wolves predictions
Gary O'Neil's time as Wolves manager ended last weekend with an ill-tempered 2-1 home defeat to fellow strugglers Ipswich and new boss Vitor Pereira starts his reign against survival rivals Leicester.
Wolves have picked up only nine points from 16 games this season but bookmakers are struggling to pick a favourite when Wanderers travel to Ruud van Nistelrooy's Foxes.
Leicester, five points better off than the visitors, were thumped 4-0 at Newcastle last time out and have allowed 74 shots at goal in their last three matches under Van Nistelrooy.
Despite that defensive generosity, they beat West Ham 3-1 and scored two late goals to draw 2-2 with Brighton in their last couple of home games.
Backing both teams to score and over 2.5 goals looks a solid bet given that Leicester's 4-0 rout at Newcastle was only the second time they had failed to score since returning to the top flight.
Wolves, who should have forward Matheus Cunha available despite an FA misconduct charge, have the Premier League's worst defensive record but have scored an average of 1.5 goals per game.
Leicester vs Wolves team news
Leicester: Danny Ward could start in goal as Mads Hermansen (groin) is a doubt. Boubakary Soumare is available after suspension and Harry Winks will be assessed. Wilfred Ndidi, Abdul Fatawu and Ricardo Pereira are injured.
Wolves: Rayan Ait-Nouri is suspended but Joao Gomes returns from a ban. Boubacar Traore, Pablo Sarabia and Jose Sa are unlikely to be risked and Yerson Mosquera, Enso Gonzalez and Sasa Kalajdzic are sidelined.
Leicester vs Wolves predicted line-ups
Leicester (4-2-3-1): Ward; Justin, Vestergaard, Coady, Kristiansen; Soumare, Skipp; McAteer, Buonanotte, El Khannouss; Vardy
Wolves (3-4-2-1): Johnstone; Semedo, S Bueno, T Gomes; Doherty, Andre, Lemina, R Gomes; J Gomes, Cunha; Larsen
Leicester vs Wolves key stat
Both teams have scored in seven of Leicester's eight home games this season
Best bet for Leicester vs Wolves:
Both teams to score & over 2.5 goals

Manchester United vs Bournemouth predictions
It has been a mixed week for Manchester United, who followed a derby victory over City with a rollercoaster EFL Cup defeat at Tottenham, and there should be more thrills and spills when Bournemouth head to Old Trafford.
The Red Devils snatched a late win over their beleaguered rivals at the Etihad, and while they were undoubtedly aided by a couple of goalkeeping howlers in their 4-3 loss at Spurs, Red Devils boss Ruben Amorim is starting to unlock his new side's attacking potential.
There has been just one occasion in their last eight home games in which United have not hit the target at least twice and the visiting Cherries should play more than merely a supporting role in generating an entertaining clash on Sunday.
Bournemouth have scored nine goals in their last four away league games and, even if we allow for the fact three of those were Justin Kluivert penalties in a 4-2 win at Wolves, they are still creating plenty of chances.
Andoni Iraola's team have posted an expected-goals figure of more than 2.5 in four of their last six outings and they should fancy their chances after a memorable 3-0 victory at the Theatre of Dreams 12 months ago.
Manchester United vs Bournemouth team news
Manchester United: Mason Mount is set for a spell on the sidelines after suffering a setback in last week's Manchester derby but Marcus Rashford could return to the squad.
Bournemouth: Andoni Iraola has no fresh injury concerns but Luis Sinisterra, Alex Scott, Julian Araujo, Marcos Senesi and Marcus Tavernier are unavailable.
Manchester United vs Bournemouth predicted line-ups
Manchester United (3-4-3): Onana; De Ligt, Maguire, Martinez; Mazraoui, Fernandes, Ugarte, Dalot; Diallo, Hojlund, Zirkzee
Bournemouth (4-2-3-1): Kepa; Smith, Zabarnyi, Huijsen, Kerkez; Christie, Cook; Semenyo, Kluivert, Ouattara; Evanilson
Manchester United vs Bournemouth key stat
Manchester United have scored at least twice in seven of their last eight home matches.
Best bet for Manchester United vs Bournemouth:
Over 3.5 goals
1pt 6-4 Hills
