Sunday's Premier League 2pm predictions

Crystal Palace vs Tottenham predictions

Despite some signs of real promise towards the end of last season, Crystal Palace have endured a miserable start to the campaign and find themselves in the bottom three without a win after eight league games.

Oliver Glasner needs to find a fix to their poor form and start picking up some points soon, but a woeful head-to-head record suggests a visit from Tottenham is unlikely to provide that desired tonic.

Spurs have won 15 and lost just two of their last 18 Premier League clashes with the Eagles and will be looking to put another London rival to the sword after thrashing West Ham 4-1 last Saturday.

Even without their captain Heung-Min Son, Tottenham have more than enough talent to overcome Palace, who have conceded 13 goals while losing each of the last five head-to-heads.

Each of Spurs' last five away games and six of the last seven meetings between the pair have seen the ball hit the net three or more times.

Back the Lilywhites to continue their strong form and compound their hosts' misery in an entertaining clash.

Crystal Palace vs Tottenham team news

Crystal Palace: Back-up goalkeeper Matt Turner will be back in the squad but Chadi Riad, Cheick Doucoure, Chris Richards, Matheus Franca and Rob Holding are all out with injuries.
Tottenham: Captain Heung-Min Son is likely to miss out again, with Djed Spence Tottenham's only other absentee.

Crystal Palace vs Tottenham predicted line-ups

Crystal Palace (3-4-1-2): Henderson; Lacroix, Chalobah, Guehi; Munoz, Wharton, Lerma, Mitchell; Eze; Nketiah, Mateta
Tottenham (4-3-3): Vicario; Porro, Romero, Van de Ven, Udogie; Kulusevski, Bissouma, Maddison; Johnson, Solanke, Werner

Crystal Palace vs Tottenham key stat

Crystal Palace have won just one of their last 18 league meetings with Spurs, losing 15 times in that run.

Best bet for Crystal Palace vs Tottenham:

Tottenham to win and over 2.5 goals
2pts 6-4 general

West Ham vs Manchester United predictions

It is difficult to place much faith in either West Ham or Manchester United at present and defeat for either Julen Lopetegui or Erik Ten Hag would surely see the pressure from supporters intensify.

Despite splashing the cash in the summer, the Hammers have been rewarded with just eight points from as many league matches while the Red Devils are only three points better off, having failed to win five of their last seven league assignments.

United have kept three clean sheets in a row away from home but they are dealing with a raft of defensive injuries and West Ham have the attacking assets to cause them problems.

However, the Londoners were brutally exposed in a 4-1 defeat at Tottenham last weekend and Lopetegui’s style of play will leave them vulnerable to the United counter-attack.

All four of West Ham’s home league outings this season have featured over 2.5 goals and they have conceded 15 goals in eight top-flight fixtures, keeping only one clean sheet.

As for United, five of their last seven league matches have gone over 2.5 goals, so this could be a captivating contest in which frontlines come to the fore.

West Ham vs Manchester United team news

West Ham: Mohammed Kudus begins a three-match suspension after being sent off against Tottenham while Niclas Fullkrug is still sidelined with a calf injury.
Manchester United: Captain Bruno Fernandes is available after being suspended for the midweek draw with Fenerbahce but Antony, Mason Mount, Harry Maguire, Leny Yoro, Luke Shaw and Kobbie Mainoo are still out. Jonny Evans should be fit but Tyrell Malacia is a doubt.

West Ham vs Manchester United predicted line-ups

West Ham (4-1-4-1): Areola; Wan-Bissaka, Mavropanos, Kilman, Emerson; Alvarez; Bowen, Soucek, Paqueta, Summerville; Antonio.
Manchester United (4-2-3-1): Onana; Mazraoui, De Ligt, Evans, Martinez; Eriksen, Casemiro; Rashford, Fernandes, Garnacho; Hojlund.

West Ham vs Manchester United key stat

West Ham's last six home games in the Premier League have gone over 2.5 goals.

Best bet for West Ham vs Manchester United:

Both teams to score & over 2.5 goals
1pt 8-11 general
