Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is 4-6 with Coral to have left Manchester United before Christmas following his side's 2-0 defeat to Manchester City at Old Trafford.

Norwich sacked their manager Daniel Farke on Saturday evening but United continue to show patience with their former striker.

Solskjaer's side were thoroughly outplayed by rivals City, who won the derby clash courtesy of an Eric Bailly own goal and a close-range effort from Bernardo Silva in the first half.

United have now drifted to as big as 80-1 with Hills to win the Premier League this term while they are 4-5 to secure a top-four finish.

The Norwegian boss seemed to be on the brink of being sacked after his side's 5-0 hammering by Liverpool on home soil last month but bought himself some time with the 3-0 win over Tottenham last weekend.

A fourth loss in six Premier League assignments has, however, left Solskjaer vulnerable again.

Coral rate Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers, who was formerly in charge of Liverpool, as 9-4 favourite to replace Solskjaer when he departs while Zinedine Zidane is 3-1 and PSG's Mauricio Pochettino is 5-1.

It was a great day for City, who won the derby and then saw Chelsea drop points in a 1-1 draw at home to Burnley. Matej Vydra cancelled out Kai Havertz's strike at Stamford Bridge and, despite remaining top, Chelsea are 13-5 to win the title with Pep Guardiola's City 10-11 in the outright market.

Norwich remain 1-6 shots with bet365 to be relegated from the Premier League this season but moved off bottom spot thanks to their first win of the campaign against Brentford on Saturday.

Despite the win, Norwich called time on Farke and Coventry's Mark Robins was made the early 5-1 favourite by Paddy Power.
