Team news
Fulham
Neeskens Kebano is still out.
Southampton
Tino Livramento, Romeo Lavia and Theo Walcott are out. Alex McCarthy is a doubt.
Match preview
The last time Nathan Jones managed a side at Craven Cottage they were battered 7-0 and the new Saints boss has every reason to be concerned once more.
No one is expecting Southampton to dissolve at Fulham in quite the same way Jones's Luton side did back in May, but the Premier League's bottom team are hard to fancy right now.
Humiliated for large parts of Boxing Day's loss to Brighton, the Saints suffered a fourth straight top-flight reverse and their only two wins since August have come against Bournemouth and Lincoln City. And they were poor against the Imps.
Confidence looks shot, usually dependable sorts such as James Ward-Prowse and Kyle Walker-Peters have gone stone cold and they look ludicrously easy to play against.
And again it has to be pointed out, this Fulham side are not the same Fulham who last came up.
Marco Silva has transformed them and Saints fans still wondering why Oriol Romeu was ever allowed to leave will fully expect another St Mary's discard Harry Reed and one of the stars of this Premier League season Joao Palhinha to completely run the show.
Fulham have a proven goalscorer, Saints don't. Fulham have a proven goalkeeper, Saints don't. Indeed, defensively Southampton are a shambles and it is hard to give them much of a chance.
Key stat
Southampton have won two of their last 13 in all competitions.
