Everton vs Wolves predictions

Everton will be desperate to ensure that they run out for their first fixture at their new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock next term as a Premier League club.

However, Wednesday's meeting with Wolves could have a significant bearing on which division the Toffees are playing in next season.

After welcoming Wanderers to Goodison, Everton's next nine league fixtures are against seven of the current top ten plus Aston Villa and Bournemouth.

And the Toffees will need to discover their shooting boots soon if they are to avoid relegation. They are the joint-lowest scorers in the top flight and have failed to find the net in five of their last seven outings.

Sean Dyche's side won't have many better opportunities to find their scoring touch than against Wolves, who have shipped a league-high 32 goals and been breached at least twice in ten of their 13 top-flight outings. However, it's hard to have faith in them doing so.

A draw suits neither party in their survival bids but it looks a big runner on Merseyside.

Key stat

Everton have drawn six of their last ten games in all competitions.
