David Moyes has suggested he has one or two doubts which may include Vladimir Coufal (groin), who had to withdraw from the Czech Republic squad.
Match preview
The new money at Newcastle will have a long-term impact on the battle for European places but West Ham are enjoying their Europa League nights this season and can boost their hopes of another top-six finish by defeating Everton at Goodison Park.
Hammers manager David Moyes was in charge of Everton for over 11 years – leading them to nine top-eight finishes – and is sure to receive a warm welcome from home fans.
Moyes spent the summer looking to increase the depth and quality of his squad in readiness for the additional demands of European football and, on the basis of early-season results, he seems to have been successful.
The Irons are top of their Europa League section with maximum points and started the weekend just three points adrift of the top four despite a disappointing 2-1 loss at home to Brentford a fortnight ago.
However, there were many positive aspects of West Ham's play against Brentford and they will look at the Everton fixture as a good opportunity to bounce back.
Fifth-placed Everton are three points better off but are carrying some significant injury problems with Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin among the definite absentees.
The key duo will be absent for a fourth successive league game and the previous three have produced a mixed bag of results with the Toffees losing 3-0 at Aston Villa, winning 2-0 at home to Norwich and drawing 1-1 at Manchester United.
The stalemate at Old Trafford stands out as the pick of those performances and provided another example of the tactical nous of Rafa Benitez, who often excels at making his teams tough to beat.
However, Benitez's teams can be less comfortable when the onus is on them to do most of the attacking.
Everton's home crowd expect them to deliver front-footed performances in the majority of home games but, without the match-winning qualities of Richarlison and Calvert-Lewin, it should be easier for West Ham to soak up the pressure.
And when West Ham get their opportunities to counter, they have the quality to take advantage. Moyes's team are superbly set up to play on the road and their eight-game unbeaten away run includes last month's superb 1-0 success at Manchester United in the EFL Cup.
They have collected four wins in five away games this season and are decent value to add another three points to their tally.
Key stat
West Ham are unbeaten in their last eight away games.
