Tight encounters are expected at Bristol City, Leeds and Preston

Bolton v Nottingham Forest (8pm)
Forest suffered just their second defeat of the season at the weekend when they were beaten at home by Norwich. Their other loss was at Brentford and both those teams are far superior to Bolton. Wanderers have won one of their last nine games and were utterly outplayed at Rotherham, despite managing to salvage a point.
Recommendation

Bristol City v Hull
It was 5-5 when Bristol City and Hull met at Ashton Gate in April but it has taken Hull six away games to score five this season, a repeat scoreline is highly unlikely. The Tigers are without a win in six matches and their only goals in their last five have been a pair of Jarrod Bowen penalties. City have won one of their last six, pipping ten-man Brentford.

Leeds v Ipswich
Ipswich have been poor this season as they adapt to life under Paul Hurst. A step forwards, winning 3-2 at Swansea, was followed by yet another stride backwards as they lost 2-0 at home to QPR. Leeds, however, have won only one of their last five games at Elland Road in all competitions. Expect a tight contest.
Recommendation
Winning margin of one goal

Preston v Brentford
Life for the Bees post-Dean Smith kicked off with a home loss to Bristol City, although ten-man Brentford were heading for a fourth straight stalemate until City struck late. Preston, unbeaten in three games, are finding their feet and this has the look of a tight encounter.
Recommendation
Draw
1pt 5-2 general
