Tuesday's Nations League predictions

Georgia won a lot of admirers with their run to the round of 16 at Euro 2024 and they can finish a strong Nations League campaign by avoiding defeat against the Czech Republic in Olomouc.

Group B1 has been hugely competitive and is set for a thrilling climax with all four teams in with a chance of promotion and at risk of relegation.

Czech Republic lead the way on eight points and need a victory to stay at the summit and a draw to make sure of a top-two finish.

However, they host second-placed Georgia without star striker Patrik Schick, who missed the camp with a minor injury amid reports of a fallout with national team head coach Ivan Hasek.

The Czechs drew 0-0 in Albania on Saturday but will be under pressure to win on home soil and may struggle to get the job done.

Georgia have started to believe in themselves. The Crusaders stunned the continent with their 2-0 triumph over Portugal at Euro 2024 and they have competed well in a tough Nations League section, allowing them to reach the final game with a chance of claiming top spot.

Willy Sagnol's side triumphed 4-1 at home to the Czechs on matchday one and can add at least another point to their total.

Third-placed Albania and fourth-placed Ukraine also have plenty to play for and their contest in Tirana could go the way of the home side.

Albanian have lost only one of their last seven competitive home games and they look the likelier winners against a Ukrainian side weakened by the absence of Real Madrid goalkeeper Andriy Lunin and Girona attacker Viktor Tsygankov.
