Saturday's National League football predictions

Kevin Phillips takes charge of AFC Fylde for the first time on Saturday and the former England striker could see his side contest a shootout at Dagenham.

It's been a tough time for Fylde but they have regularly been able to find the net, putting five past Aldershot last time out, while attacker Nick Haughton currently leads the Golden Boot race with 11 goals already this season.

What has let the Coasters down is their defending, keeping just one clean sheet in 13 games and conceding the second-most goals in the league.

They will likely struggle to keep the Daggers at bay, who have failed to notch only three times.

The live evening match sees Rochdale host Southend and there could also be goals at both ends in that game.

Rochdale have been climbing the table with six wins in nine and much of that is down to their goalscoring, having notched at least twice in six of their last eight.

Southend have been inconsistent, but they have failed to score only once in their last 11 matches.

Both teams have scored in eight of the Shrimpers' last ten games and that could be the case again.
