Saturday's National League football predictions

Barnet made a mockery of a one-goal handicap against Tamworth last weekend as they ran out 7-0 victors and Eastleigh could prolong the agony for the Lambs on Saturday.

Tamworth have claimed just five points from their opening six matches and a trip to second-placed Eastleigh is a daunting proposition.

The Spitfires fell to their first defeat of the season last time out, losing 2-1 to table-toppers Gateshead, but could bounce back in authoritative fashion.

Kelvin Davis’s side have scored 11 goals in their first six National League outings and look a worthwhile handicap punt against Tamworth.

Aldershot’s James Henry has been on fire in the opening weeks of the new campaign and he could be too hot for Rochdale to handle on Saturday.

Henry is the joint-leading scorer in the National League with five goals and has found the net in each of his last three outings for the Shots.

The attacking midfielder dropped down two divisions this summer after seven years at Oxford and has quickly settled into non-league life at attack-minded Aldershot, who have found the net 15 times in their first six league matches, 11 of which have come on home soil.

Opponents Rochdale have scored eight times themselves, so over 2.5 goals appeals in Saturday's meeting in Hampshire, but the 11-4 on offer about Henry continuing his golden run in front of goal looks too enticing to pass up.
