Saturday's National League football predictions

A 2-1 defeat at Altrincham on Tuesday brought an abrupt end to Dagenham & Redbridge's three-game winning streak.

However, the Daggers' first-half strike was the ninth time in 11 National League matches that they have found the back of the net and was their seventh game of the season to feature goals at both ends.

Ben Strevens' side have scored 19 goals in their opening 11 league fixtures but they have also conceded 12 times themselves.

Their opponents on Saturday, Solihull Moors, have not been quite as prolific, scoring 13 times, but a goals-against tally of 19 shows they are far from watertight at the back.

Both teams have also scored in seven of Moors' 11 matches this season, so banking on a high-scoring encounter at Victoria Road looks wise.

After drawing five of their opening eight matches, Oldham have begun to find a killer instinct and have propelled themselves into the playoff positions with three wins on the spin.

An impressive 1-0 win at home to promotion hopefuls Forest Green on Tuesday came hot on the heels of victories over Yeovil and Woking, and the Latics are now unbeaten in seven league outings with their sole defeat of the season coming against Aldershot over a month ago.

Micky Mellon's men appear to have a golden opportunity to continue their strong run away to bottom-of-the-table Ebbsfleet, who have lost eight and won just one of their 11 league outings.
