Manchester United vs Crystal Palace predictions

Automatic qualification for the last 16 of the Europa League brought a few smiles for Manchester United after their 2-0 midweek win over FCSB, but their home Premier League form remains a concern and overcoming Crystal Palace may not be straightforward.

The Red Devils started the weekend in 12th spot and they have been defeated in six of their 12 home games this term, including three of the last four.

The only win in those four matches came against bottom-of-the-table Southampton, which does not inspire much confidence and the Eagles head to the Theatre of Dreams with their tails up.

Despite the disappointment of last week's 2-1 loss to Brentford, Oliver Glasner's side have recovered from a shaky start and take a seven-match unbeaten away record to Old Trafford, having kept four clean sheets in their last five on their travels.

The absence of playmaker Eberechi Eze with a foot injury is a blow, but they have enough to make sure United have another uncomfortable afternoon and can head back south having earned something from the trip.

Manchester United vs Crystal Palace team news

Manchester United: Jonny Evans, Mason Mount and Luke Shaw remain sidelined for the Red Devils
Crystal Palace: Eberechi Eze, Cheick Doucoure and Chadi Riad are all out for the Eagles, but Adam Wharton and Matheus Franca could return to the squad.
