Liverpool grabbed an injury-time winner against Tottenham to go back to the top of the Premier League on Sunday, but they are still 15-8 with Paddy Power to end their 29-year wait for a title.

It looked as if the Reds would fail to win a league game at home for just the third time this season but Spurs goalkeeper Hugo Lloris was unable to hold on to Mo Salah's header and defender Toby Alderweireld could only turn the ball into his own net.

Roberto Firmino's first-half header had put the Reds ahead before Lucas Moura's equaliser and Jurgen Klopp's side are two points clear at the top, even though they have played a game more than champions Manchester City.

Pep Guardiola's side, who beat strugglers Fulham 2-0 on Saturday, are 4-9 with bet365 and Betway to keep hold of their crown.

The Anfield defeat was a big blow to Tottenham's hopes of claiming a place in the top four.

They stayed third in the table, but Mauricio Pochettino's side have taken just one point from their last five league matches and can be leapfrogged by arch-rivals Arsenal if the Gunners post a victory over Newcastle at the Emirates on Monday.

Tottenham are out to 4-6 to finish in the top four, which would be enough to ensure Champions League football at their new stadium next season, while Arsenal are 4-7.

Chelsea kept their hopes of a top-four finish alive but left it late as they claimed a 2-1 win at relegation-threatened Cardiff.

Victor Camarasa put the Bluebirds ahead but Chelsea's Cesar Azpilicueta nodded Chelsea level from an offside position.

Substitute Ruben Loftus-Cheek rubbed salt in the wounds with an injury-time winner.

Cardiff are five points adrift of safety with seven games left to play and Neil Warnock's team are 1-5 with Sky Bet to make an immediate return to the Championship.

Celtic are 13 points clear of Rangers with seven matches remaining in the Ladbrokes Premiership season after Jamie Forrest's late goal earned Neil Lennon's side a 2-1 victory in Sunday's Old Firm derby at Parkhead.

Portsmouth won the EFL Trophy on penalties following a 2-2 draw with Sunderland at Wembley.
