Accumulator tips and predictions for Saturday

Racing Post football expert Dan Childs has picked:

Bristol City to beat Plymouth @1-2 with Ladbrokes

Norwich to beat Luton @21-20 with Ladbrokes

Lincoln to beat Crawley @10-11 with Ladbrokes

Leyton Orient to beat Oldham @13-20 with Ladbrokes

Total odds: @17-2 with Ladbrokes

Odds correct at time of publication

Bristol City vs Plymouth

Bristol City were unlucky to lose 1-0 at Watford on Tuesday but they can respond with a home win over Plymouth, who have taken just two points from nine Championship road trips. Wayne Rooney was furious with his players but there may not be an immediate reaction from Argyle.

Norwich vs Luton

Norwich returned to winning ways with Tuesday's 6-1 success over Plymouth and they can follow with a victory over lowly Luton, who have lost their last five away games.

Crawley vs Lincoln

Lincoln have not reached the FA Cup third round since the 2018-19 campaign but they can advance with a victory away to League One rivals Crawley, who are ten points beneath them and are struggling with an injury crisis.

Leyton Orient vs Oldham

Leyton Orient have been having a tricky time in League One but they should have too much quality for National League opponents Oldham, who are fourth in the fifth tier.

Football acca FAQs

What is a football accumulator (acca)?
A football accumulator, commonly referred to as an 'acca', is a single bet that combines multiple individual bets into one. Each selection within the accumulator must win for the bet to pay out, offering higher potential returns but at increased risk compared to single bets.

Can I place an acca on different markets?
Yes, you can combine various markets in an acca, including match winners, total goals, both teams to score, and more. However, most betting platforms require that selections within an accumulator are not related to ensure the bet is valid.

What is the advantage of placing an accumulator bet?
The main advantage of an accumulator bet is the potential for higher returns from a smaller stake since the odds of each selection are multiplied together. It adds excitement to watching multiple matches, as each leg of your acca needs to be successful for a return.
