Accumulator tips and predictions for Friday November 29

Racing Post football expert Jamie Griffith has picked:

St Pauli to beat Holstein Kiel @17-20 with Ladbrokes

Cagliari to beat Verona @Evs with Ladbrokes

Brighton to beat Southampton @4-9 with Ladbrokes

Sheffield United to beat Sunderland @21-20 with Ladbrokes

Total odds: @10-1 with Ladbrokes

Odds correct at time of publication

St Pauli vs Holstein Kiel

While both of these promoted sides are struggling in the top flight, St Pauli have conceded just 14 league goals – half the amount of Holstein Kiel – and that solid defence combined with home advantage could see the hosts just have the edge on their relegation rivals.

Cagliari vs Verona

Verona have lost their last five away games by an aggregate score of 15-5 and are likely to struggle against Cagliari, who held Milan to a 3-3 draw in their last home match.

Brighton vs Southampton

Despite their valiant efforts, Southampton fell to a tenth defeat in 12 league games against Liverpool and they may get that familiar feeling again at Brighton, who have beaten Bournemouth and Manchester City 2-1 in their last two matches.

Sheffield United vs Sunderland

Promotion is in Sheffield United's sights and the Blades can return to the top of the Championship by landing an eighth straight home win when hosting Sunderland.

Football acca FAQs

What is a football accumulator (acca)?
A football accumulator, commonly referred to as an 'acca', is a single bet that combines multiple individual bets into one. Each selection within the accumulator must win for the bet to pay out, offering higher potential returns but at increased risk compared to single bets.

Can I place an acca on different markets?
Yes, you can combine various markets in an acca, including match winners, total goals, both teams to score, and more. However, most betting platforms require that selections within an accumulator are not related to ensure the bet is valid.

What is the advantage of placing an accumulator bet?
The main advantage of an accumulator bet is the potential for higher returns from a smaller stake since the odds of each selection are multiplied together. It adds excitement to watching multiple matches, as each leg of your acca needs to be successful for a return.
