Accumulator tips and predictions for Friday

Racing Post football expert James Milton has picked:

Monaco to beat Brest @ 8-15 with Ladbrokes

Cheltenham to beat Tranmere @ 29-20 with Ladbrokes

Watford to beat Plymouth @ 5-4 with Ladbrokes

Paris St-Germain to beat Toulouse @ 1-3 with Ladbrokes

Total odds: @ 10.22-1 with Ladbrokes

Odds correct at time of publication

Monaco vs Brest

Monaco and Brest are both flying high in the Champions League standings but there is already a ten-point gap between the teams in Ligue 1. Monaco are second in the table, having conceded only eight goals in 11 games, while Brest have lost four of their first five away matches in the French top flight.

Cheltenham vs Tranmere

Cheltenham let slip a 2-1 lead to lose 3-2 at in-form MK Dons in their last League Two fixture. However, they had picked up eight points from their previous four games and struggling visitors Tranmere have scored only ten times in 14 matches this term.

Plymouth vs Watford

Watford have done most of their best work at home in the Championship but they thrashed Sheffield Wednesday 6-2 at Hillsborough on November 2 and can claim another away win at Plymouth. The Hornets won 2-0 against the Pilgrims in the EFL Cup earlier this season, racking up 17 shots to their opponents' six.

Paris St-Germain vs Toulouse

Despite the summer departure of Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid, Paris St-Germain remain a class apart in Ligue 1. PSG have taken 29 points from a possible 33 and should bank another three against Toulouse, who have lost all three of their games against teams in the top five this term.

Football acca FAQs

What is a football accumulator (acca)?
A football accumulator, commonly referred to as an 'acca', is a single bet that combines multiple individual bets into one. Each selection within the accumulator must win for the bet to pay out, offering higher potential returns but at increased risk compared to single bets.

Can I place an acca on different markets?
Yes, you can combine various markets in an acca, including match winners, total goals, both teams to score, and more. However, most betting platforms require that selections within an accumulator are not related to ensure the bet is valid.

What is the advantage of placing an accumulator bet?
The main advantage of an accumulator bet is the potential for higher returns from a smaller stake since the odds of each selection are multiplied together. It adds excitement to watching multiple matches, as each leg of your acca needs to be successful for a return.
