Sunday European football predictions

Life after Kylian Mbappe has started brightly for Paris Saint-Germain, who will look to make it three wins from three games in Ligue 1 when they take on Lille on Sunday.

Despite the departure of the club's all-time top scorer, the goals have been flowing for PSG, who thumped Le Havre 4-1 in their opener before a 6-0 mauling of Montpellier last Friday.

Seven different players have scored for PSG in Ligue 1 already this season but the one generating the most hype is 21-year-old winger Bradley Barcola.

Barcola already has three Ligue 1 goals to his name this season, having bagged the first brace of his career against Montpellier, and he looks capable of plugging the gap left by Mbappe.

The forward says his involvement for France at Euro 2024 boosted his confidence and he is already playing with more freedom than last term.

At 7-2, he looks overpriced to find the net against Lille, who conceded four league goals against PSG last season.

Cesc Fabregas's Como have begun their first Serie A season in 21 years on the back foot and they could be worth opposing against Udinese.

There were no real surprises in Como's opening 3-0 defeat to Juventus, although their failure to steer a shot on target was concerning.

And they again lacked bite in a 1-1 draw with Cagliari last time out.

Udinese, meanwhile, already look much-improved this campaign, having followed a 4-0 thrashing of Avellino in the Coppa Italia first round with four points from two Serie A fixtures.

They drew 1-1 with Bologna, who finished fifth last term, before beating Lazio 2-1 despite playing a chunk of the second half with ten men.

Como should represent even softer opponents and Udinese can record a win.
