Sunday European football predictions

Heidenheim and Eintracht Frankfurt have had sharply contrasting seasons and the latter is fancied to come out on top when they meet on Sunday.

With a red-hot front two of Omar Mamoush and Hugo Ekiteke, Frankfurt came into this weekend second in the Bundesliga.

Their front two have scored 16 and registered ten assists between them in 11 league games and they could be the difference between these two outfits.

A first European campaign is stretching Heidenheim’s squad and they have suffered seven defeats from their last nine league games, so that run looks set to continue against a Frankfurt side that have won six on the spin in all competitions.

Fiorentina and Inter came into this weekend among the Serie A's top five that was separated by just a point.

Simone Inzaghi’s men have seen four of their last five games go under 2.5 goals and this looks set to be another cagey affair.

Fiorentina have been fortunate this season, seeing their opponents have a man sent off in four of their last seven league games.

Without that, their total of 27 goals would likely be a lot lower and they look set to put plenty of men behind the ball for this clash, so there may not be many goals.
