Saturday's European football predictions

Juventus have made an unbeaten start to life under Thiago Motta but an inability to kill games off still haunts them and they should be wary of opponents Lazio.

The Old Lady went into the international break three points behind leaders Napoli but they need to improve in the final third, scoring just ten goals in seven league fixtures this season.

They have already racked up four draws in Serie A this term and 14 of their 27 league fixtures in 2024 have finished all square. That lack of attacking bite is cause for concern.

Juve are level with Lazio on 13 points but they also have a lengthy list of absentees, with Arkadiusz Milik, Bremer, Teun Koopmeiners and Nico Gonzalez sidelined, while Francisco Conceicao is suspended.

Marco Baroni's side, meanwhile, have impressed with their daring attacking approach, winning four successive games in all competitions before the international break.

And the fact they have gained more points (seven) from losing positions than any other team in Serie A this season shows they do not know when they are beaten, so they are worth backing draw no bet.

Leipzig have emerged as Bayern Munich's closest title challengers in the Bundesliga, winning four and drawing two of their opening six contests.

The Red Bulls have shipped just twice in the league this term with both of those goals coming against defending champions Bayer Leverkusen.

That defensive resolve should see them win at Mainz, who have lost their last two home games against Werder Bremen and Heidenheim.
