Saturday European football predictions

Stuttgart vs Borussia Monchengladbach predictions

Stuttgart suffered a 4-1 hammering at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday that saw them eliminated from the Champions League.

They may struggle to bounce back from that loss and are worth taking on when they host Borussia Monchengladbach, who are just five points behind their hosts in a congested Bundesliga table.

The visitors beat VfL Bochum 3-0 last weekend and in Tim Kleindienst they have one of the form strikers in Europe.

Atletico Madrid vs Mallorca predictions

Mallorca are punching well above their weight this season but could come back down to earth with a bump when they visit Atletico Madrid.

Despite being sixth in La Liga, only three teams have scored fewer than the Pirates’ total of 19 goals this season.

Atleti are unbeaten in 11 home league games, winning eight of those, and have the best defensive record in the division. Take Diego Simeone’s men to win to nil.

Bologna vs Como predictions

After a Champions League game on Wednesday and with a Coppa Italia quarter-final with Atalanta looming on Tuesday, Bologna may not be at their best for this Serie A clash with Como.

The visitors have been much more solid since the start of December, their three losses in that nine-game run have come against Atalanta and both Milan clubs.

Como have managed to beat Roma, Lecce and Udinese recently and could hold on for a stalemate on the road.

Bologna have drawn four of their last six in all competitions and may have to settle for another stalemate.
