Saturday European football predictions

Omar Marmoush's goalscoring exploits have been one of the big talking points of this season's Bundesliga and the Egyptian ace could again impress against Werder Bremen on Saturday.

Eintracht Frankfurt's Marmoush is joint-top scorer in the Bundesliga alongside Harry Kane on 11 goals, while he has also laid on the most assists in the division with seven.

Unsurprisingly compared with his compatriot Mohamed Salah for his pace and eye for goal, Marmoush has scored direct free-kicks in each of his last three matches, showing he is as much of a danger from set-pieces as in open play.

Marmoush helped Frankfurt to third spot in the Bundesliga before the international break and there should be ample opportunity for him to find the net against Bremen, who are conceding an average of more than two goals per game.

The draw is not the most attractive wager for most punters but it looks an appropriate pick for Saturday's Serie A showdown between Milan and Juventus.

Juve are six points better off than the Rossoneri, albeit having played one game more, but they could be held at San Siro.

The Old Lady have drawn as many matches as they have won (six) in Serie A this term and head into this match missing key personnel.

Top scorer Dusan Vlahovic has been ruled out along with Douglas Luiz, Arkadiusz Milik, Nico Gonzalez, Gleison Bremer, Juan Cabal and Vasilije Adzic, limiting Juve's options across the pitch.

Paulo Fonseca has felt the pressure at Milan this season, but they have recorded wins over Real Madrid and Inter this term, so they can manage the bigger occasions, and they have lost just one of their six matches since the October international break.

Juventus have shipped just seven times in their 12 league games this season and this could be a cagey affair, enhancing the appeal of a bet on the draw.
