Thursday's Europa League football predictions
Eintracht Frankfurt beat Rangers on penalties in the 2021-22 Europa League final and they are relishing their return to the competition this season.
After letting slip a 3-1 lead to draw 3-3 with Viktoria Plzen in their opener, Eintracht have beaten Besiktas 3-1, Rigas 1-0 and Slavia Prague 1-0 and they should extend that winning streak away to Midtjylland.
Dino Toppmoller's side, inspired by prolific Egyptian forward Omar Marmoush, are also flying in the Bundesliga.
A three-match winning run, including a 7-2 rout of Bochum, means only Bayern Munich are above them in the table and Europa League hosts Midtjylland are unlikely to halt their charge.
The Danes had lost four in a row before Monday's 1-0 home win over Silkeborg and they are missing injured striker Dario Osorio.
Elfsborg's first two away results were a 3-2 defeat at AZ Alkmaar and a 4-3 loss at Galatasaray but it may be worth backing a low-scoring contest when they travel to Athletic Bilbao.
The Swedes have kept clean sheets in their last two Allsvenskan matches, a 1-0 win over Vasteras and a 0-0 draw at Varnamo, and have been competitive in all four Europa League games.
Elfsborg beat Roma 1-0 on matchday two and held Braga to a 1-1 draw last time out. Athletic Bilbao defeated AZ Alkmaar 2-0 and Slavia Prague 1-0 in their first two home games so under 2.5 goals, a winner in five of their last six matches in all competitions, looks a big price.
Hoffenheim lost 2-0 at Porto on matchday three but that was one of only two defeats in their last ten games and they can pick up at least a point against Braga on their return to Portugal.
The Germans have drawn their last three Bundesliga away games, conceding only one goal, and beat RB Leipzig 4-3 at home last week.
Braga needed two late goals to claim a 2-1 home win over Maccabi Tel Aviv on matchday one and have picked up only one point from three subsequent fixtures against Olympiakos, Bodo/Glimt and Elfsborg.
