Manchester United vs PAOK predictions

Manchester United haven't registered any victories or clean sheets in the opening three games of their Europa League campaign but they can tick both boxes when they welcome Greek champions PAOK to Old Trafford.

Interim manager Ruud van Nistelrooy is two games into a four-match stint in the United hotseat ahead of Ruben Amorim's eagerly anticipated arrival and he has made a positive early impression.

Van Nistelrooy's side triumphed 5-2 at home to Leicester in the EFL Cup fourth round and followed up with a hard-fought 1-1 Premier League draw against Chelsea on Sunday.

United's injury list remains uncomfortably long and there won't be much room for rotation as they strive to climb the Europa League standings.

Three successive draws have left the Red Devils 21st on the 36-team ladder and with little margin room for error if their aim of a top-eight finish is to be realised. But three of United's five remaining fixtures are on home soil, starting with what should be a straightforward assignment against a PAOK side going through a sticky patch.

Razvan Lucescu's side have dropped points in three of their last five Greek Super League fixtures and are struggling in the Europa League with only one point on the board.

Making such a poor start is a major disappointment for PAOK, who reached the quarter-finals of last season's Conference League.

However, they have struggled to handle the step up to the Europa League and may find it difficult to resist the Red Devils, who should coast to a comfortable success.

Key stat

Manchester United are unbeaten in their last six Europa League home games.
