There are only two matches taking place in the EFL on Tuesday but they carry great significance with League One title chasers Wigan and Rotherham both in action.

Wigan are 1-6 with bet365 to clinch the title after a brilliant eight-game unbeaten run, combined with the recent wobble of Rotherham, which has seen them move three points clear of MK Dons at the top.

The Millers, who are 9-2 to take the title, are six points behind Wigan but still look like the Latics’ chief threat given they too have two games in hand over Dons.

However, catching Wigan looks a tall order and Leam Richardson’s side are expected to move one step closer to the trophy with victory at Burton.

While Wigan are producing some of their best stuff of the season, the Brewers have won only one of their last nine and Saturday's goalless draw with Plymouth was the third time on the spin in which they had failed to score.

The pace-setting Latics have won 13 of their 19 away league games this season and at a shade of odds-on are worth backing to taste more road success at the Pirelli Stadium.

Rotherham face a tougher test on their trip to Portsmouth and they have something to prove following back-to-back home defeats against Shrewsbury and Charlton.
