Best bets for Saturday's 12.30pm EFL kick-offs

A 13-game winless run has sent Hull dropping like a stone to the foot of the Championship table and they will be hoping that this month's appointment of manager Ruben Selles can make all the difference in their bid to fight off relegation.

Selles' opening two games in charge have seen them draw 1-1 at home to Watford and suffer a 2-1 defeat at Coventry, but they were improved performances and they can make their presence felt in a free-scoring showdown with Swansea.

Both teams have scored in the Swans' last six Championship clashes, including a 4-3 defeat to Leeds and 3-2 loss to Sunderland, and the trend can continue against the Tigers who, for all their struggles, have failed to score in only four of their last 11 league fixtures.

Wrexham have made a seamless transition from life in League Two to League One football, and a run of  four wins and a draw in their last five games has kept them within two points of leaders Wycombe.

Strong defensive foundations have been the catalyst behind their early-season success,- they have conceded only 13 goals in 20 outings - and that could lead to a low-scoring affair at Bristol Rovers.

Seven of Wrexham’s last ten league games have featured one goal or fewer and they should keep things tight against the Gas, who have failed to score in five of their last seven third-tier outings.

Rovers have suffered three straight defeats to nil and seven of their last eight league assignments have rewarded backers of under 2.5 goals.
