Hull City vs Sheffield United predictions

Sheffield United signed off for the international break with a 1-0 at home to highflying Watford and they can continue their solid start to the campaign by defeating struggling Hull at the MKM Stadium.

Last season was a painful experience for the Blades, who finished rock bottom of the Premier League with just three victories from 38 games.

The task of bouncing straight back was made more difficult by a two-point deduction, but the Blades are unbeaten after four Championship matches and approach their trip to Hull knowing that a victory will lift them into the top four.

Confidence is growing and the Blades may be taking on Hull at just the right time.

The summer was one of massive change for Hull, who brought in new manager Tim Walter and 15 players.

Tigers owner Acun Ilicali is not short of ambition but he might need to show a bit of patience while the new-look squad get on with their work.

Hull have picked up three draws and one loss as Walter as handed game time to 20 players, but six of the new signings are yet to feature in a league game this season and it may take several more weeks for a settled team to be established.

The Tigers' winless sequence extended to seven when they lost 2-0 at Leeds last time out.

They were well beaten at Elland Road and may have to go through a similarly dispiriting experience against the Blades, who appear determined to ensure that their latest stay in the second tier is as short as possible.
