Fleetwood vs Morecambe predictions
After losing their first five League Two matches of the season, all by a 1-0 scoreline, Morecambe finally picked up a point in a dramatic 3-3 draw with Colchester last time out.
Another defeat was looming when Luke Hendrie was sent off shortly before half-time, helping Colchester come from 1-0 down to lead 3-1.
But a late penalty from Callum Jones and a Tom Flanagan own goal earned the Shrimps a valuable point and they can add to their haul on Monday's short trip to Fleetwood.
Despite their losing run, Morecambe have not been outclassed in defeats to Walsall, Gillingham, Doncaster, Newport County and Crewe.
They allowed those five opponents only 13 shots on target between them and claimed a 2-1 victory at League One Wigan in the EFL Trophy this month.
Morecambe boss Derek Adams will hope the gutsy result against Colchester proves a turning point in the campaign and his side should be competitive against Charlie Adam's Fleetwood.
The hosts look short enough given that they have kept only one clean sheet in their last eight games in all competitions.
They have been solid at home, beating Grimsby 1-0 and drawing 0-0 with Gillingham, and they also defeated Northampton and Burton to nil in their last two home fixtures in League One last term.
Fleetwood are just 6-5 to keep another clean sheet against Morecambe but the match odds may overestimate the gulf between the two sides and the Shrimps can build on their stirring comeback last time out.
