Hosts Brazil kick off the 2021 Copa America in Brasilia against a Venezuela side whose preparations have been rocked by five players testing positive for Covid-19 on the eve of the tournament.

Players who test positive can be replaced with changes to squads now unlimited meaning Venezuela coach Jose Peseiro can replace those ruled out.

The disruption will probably not alter Peseiro's approach though. Venezuela were beaten only 1-0 by Brazil in a World Cup qualifier in November and their meeting at the last Copa ended 0-0.

And judging by the number of men Venezuela put behind the ball in last week's 0-0 draw with Uruguay in a World Cup tie, they won't be taking too many risks again.

Colombia have waited seven months to avenge a staggering 6-1 loss to Ecuador in Quito in World Cup qualifying, but they don't look appealing odds-on shots.

Los Cafeteros have shipped far too many goals in recent games to be trusted and they are probably a lay for the match in Cuiaba.

Ecuador have been revived under Gustavo Alfaro, who has brought stability and a competitive mentality to the national set-up. Enner Valencia has been in top form and will pose a threat to the Colombian defence.
