Peru v Brazil

Premier 1, 8pm Saturday

Brazil have not dominated as much as they would have expected in Group A but they can nail down top spot by beating Peru in Sao Paolo.

Finding a way of playing without Neymar is proving problematic for the Samba Stars, who laboured to a 3-0 success over Bolivia and were held to a 0-0 draw by Venezuela.

Richarlison was substituted at half-time against Venezuela – making way for Gabriel Jesus – but Brazil failed to improve and were booed off at the end of the game.

Playing against massed defences is nothing new to Brazil but they might get a little more freedom against Peru, who are a team built to attack.

Peru's progress to the quarter-finals is highly likely after they moved to four points with a 3-1 success over Bolivia on Tuesday.

However, the Incas have lost four of their last five matches against Brazil and may have to stomach another defeat this weekend.

Recommendation
Brazil and under 3.5 goals

Team news
Peru
No injuries are reported in the Peru camp. Edison Flores scored after coming on as a substitute against Bolivia and could feature from the off.

Brazil
Attackers Everton and Gabriel Jesus came off the bench in the opening two games and will be pushing for starts. Fernandinho could challenge Casemiro for a midfield berth but no new injuries are reported.

Key stat
Brazil's last 12 competitive fixtures have featured fewer than four goals.

Bolivia v Venezuela

Premier 2, 8pm Saturday

Venezuela are in a solid position in Group A after 0-0 draws against Peru and Brazil and they can seal qualification for the quarter-finals by defeating Bolivia in Belo Horizonte.

All of the games in Group A have been hard-fought, but Bolivia prop up the section after defeats to Brazil (3-0) and Peru (3-1).

Those outcomes were a tad harsh on Bolivia, who were level at half-time against Brazil and led Peru 1-0.

However, the Bolivians have a dismal record in the Copa America with one win in 24 games since they hosted the competition in 1997.

They need a victory to have a chance of getting out of the group but if they play an open game it should suit Venezuela, who have better attacking players.

Not much has been seen of West Brom forward Salomon Rondon and Atalanta United striker Josef Martinez in the opening matches but that may be about to change.

Both could make their mark against Bolivia, who lack the quality to respond.

Recommendation
Venezuela win to nil

Team news

Bolivia
No fresh problems have been reported by Bolivia, who lost forward Rodrigo Ramallo to an injury before the start of the tournament.

Venezuela
Atlanta United striker Josef Martinez is pushing for a start after coming off the bench against Brazil and midfielder Luis Mago has completed a one-game ban.

Key stat
Bolivia have lost their last seven Copa America fixtures.
