Brazil against Argentina is one of the great fixtures on the international calendar and the scene is set for a heavyweight contest when the sides meet in Belo Horizonte for a place in the Copa America final.

There will be extra-time in the semi-finals - three of the four quarter-final ties went straight to penalties after 90 minutes - but even another 30 minutes may struggle to separate South America's giants.

Brazil, on home soil, deserve to be favourites but they crumbled under pressure in their 2014 World Cup semi-final humiliation against Germany and Argentina could play on any nerves this time.

Tite's team have not conceded in this tournament, although two of those four fixtures against Venezuela and Paraguay finished goalless and whether Brazil have the natural firepower to put opponents to the sword without the injured Neymar remains open to debate.

Roberto Firmino is a star for his club and links Liverpool's attacks beautifully. He isn't, however, a penalty-box predator and Gabriel Jesus has struggled under the weight of expectations in a Brazil shirt.

The same can also be said of Lionel Messi and Argentina, but if anyone can end Brazil's six-match clean-sheet streak it is likely to be the trident of Messi, Sergio Aguero and Lautaro Martinez.

Argentina have just started to sort themselves out in midfield and the switch of Juan Foyth to right-back gives them added defensive insurance.

Even in the last World Cup, when Argentina were an absolute shambles, they still scored three goals in their defeat to France and their attacking intent makes them interesting at a big price.
