Wednesday's Championship predictions
Championship highflyers Leeds reeled off a fourth straight home win when cruising to a 3-0 success over Plymouth on Saturday but they have been far less comfortable away from Elland Road and may struggle against playoff-chasing Millwall.
There is plenty of market respect for second-placed Leeds, which is understandable because they have amassed 26 points from 13 games and could be doing even better.
After the weekend games Daniel Farke's side had the Championship's highest expected-goals tally of 24.49 and the lowest XG against at just 8.11.
And both of those statistics were done no harm by a one-sided weekend victory over Plymouth which featured 23 shots for the Yorkshire side and zero against.
However, Leeds have drawn their last three away games and will almost certainly be tested by Millwall, who rose to seventh after Sunday's deserved 1-0 triumph at home to Burnley.
Millwall are another side with solid statistical credentials, boasting a post weekend XG of 21.34 (the fourth highest) and an XG against of 13.73 (the sixth lowest).
They are particularly strong on home soil and look overpriced to at least avoid a midweek defeat.
Coventry have been making positive strides in recent weeks and they can rack up a third straight success by defeating Derby at the CBS Arena.
The Sky Blues rose from 18th to 13th after Saturday's 3-0 win at Middlesbrough, which stands out as their best result of the season.
However, they have ambitions to climb a lot higher and can take another step forward at the expense of mid-table Derby, who are still searching for their first away win of the campaign.
