Tuesday Champions League predictions

Galatasaray v Bayern Munich predictions

Bayern Munich are unbeaten in eight away games and, led by the in-form Harry Kane, they should have enough to see off Galatasaray in a high-scoring affair.

Six of Bayern’s last eight games in all competitions have produced four or more goals and their hosts’ opening two Champions League fixtures saw the ball hit the net on four and five occasions.

Galatasaray would probably be without a point had both Manchester United and Copenhagen not received red cards in those games and Bayern, who won their opening two group stage matches, should come out on top in a match full of action.

Inter v Red Bull Salzburg predictions

Inter are leading the way in Serie A following a 3-0 win over Torino on Saturday and could land themselves top spot in Group D with a big win over RB Salzburg.

Their visitors have won one and lost one of their group games so far and have not been as dominant in the Austrian Bundesliga as usual this term, sitting in second-place and four points behind leaders Sturm Graz, suggesting a routine home victory is on the cards in Milan.

Union Berlin v Napoli predictions

Serie A champions Napoli head to Germany to face Union Berlin having finally found some form following a stuttering start to life under new manager Rudi Garcia.

The Azzurri have won three of their last five matches and are unbeaten in their six away games this season and should be confident facing Urs Fischer's side who have lost their last eight games, including four at home.

In those quartet of home defeats Berlin conceded three goals, suggesting that Garcia's side could land a big win here.

Napoli's last five matches have all featured three or more goals, as have both of their Champions League games this term, making an away win with plenty of goals an appealing bet.

Lens v PSV predictions

Lens were the shock team in Ligue 1 last season, battling with a star-studded PSG for the title only to lose out by one point on the last day of the campaign, and they have continued to punch above their weight this term, but in the Champions League this time around as they top a group consisting of European regulars Arsenal, Sevilla and PSV.

It is the latter who they host tonight and they will be feeling confident of extending their lead at the top of Group B after a win against Arsenal in the last set of games, up against a side the Gunners dispatched of 4-0 earlier on in the season.

Braga v Real Madrid predictions

Jude Bellingham has already proved his worth to Real Madrid and he looks set to continue his fine run of scoring form by netting against a Braga side who have kept just one clean sheet in their last nine games.

That single shutout came against a fourth-tier side too, suggesting they may struggle to deal with Los Blancos' firepower.

Bellingham has scored six goals in his seven away matches and, flanked by the dangerous Rodrygo and Vinicius Junior, he should get plenty of opportunities to net another against a leaky Braga side.

Benfica v Real Sociedad predictions

Benfica have enjoyed a strong start to their Primera Liga campaign, winning seven times and losing just once in eight games, but their two losses in as many matches in the Champions League will be a cause for concern for manager Roger Schmidt.

They welcome Group D leaders Real Sociedad in this round of fixtures and will be hoping to get some points on the board, but they may struggle against Imanol Alguacil's side who are fifth in La Liga and have lost just once in seven matches.
