Tuesday's Champions League predictions

Monaco vs Red Star Belgrade

Red Star Belgrade have sustained successive defeats in the Champions League, going down 4-0 against Inter last time out, and things are unlikely to get any easier when they visit Monaco.

Monaco are unbeaten in all competitions this season and should live up to their favourite's tag in this contest.

Milan vs Club Brugge

Club Brugge are fearless when it comes to European football and they can play their part in a high-scoring clash with Milan.

Brugge lost their opener 3-0 to Borussia Dortmund - although they won the shot count 18-17 in that game - before digging deep to beat Sturm Graz 1-0 on matchday two.

Christos Tzolis and Hans Vanaken are dangerous in the final third and backing both teams to score, which has clicked in four of their last five fixtures, could be the best bet when they face inconsistent Milan.

Juventus vs Stuttgart

Juventus are progressing well under Thiago Motta and they look overpriced to take down Stuttgart on Tuesday.

The Old Lady are unbeaten in eight matches in Serie A this term and find themselves just three points off leaders Napoli.

In the Champions League, meanwhile, they have posted wins over PSV and Leipzig and they look a solid pick against Stuttgart, who will be licking their wounds after Saturday's 4-0 mauling by Bayern Munich.

Sturm Graz vs Sporting CP

Austrian Bundesliga leaders Sturm Graz are up against it after defeats to Brest and Club Brugge in their first two Champions League contests and they could also struggle to contain Sporting CP.

Real Madrid vs Borussia Dortmund

It is a repeat of last season's Champions League final at the Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday and Borussia Dortmund could get their revenge on Real Madrid.

Dortmund lost 2-0 in June's final at Wembley but have once again looked strong in the Champions League, easing to 3-0 and 7-1 wins over Club Brugge and Celtic.

Real represent a major step-up in quality of opponent but they have already slipped up once in this season's competition, losing to Lille on matchday two, and Dortmund can avoid defeat in Spain.

Paris St-Germain vs PSV Eindhoven

PSG failed to make an impression in their 2-0 defeat to Arsenal at the start of the month and they should be wary of visitors PSV.

PSV are in red-hot form in the Eredivisie and got on the scoresheet against both Juventus and Sporting in their first two Champions League games this term.

Girona vs Slovan Bratislava

Slovan Bratislava are fast becoming the whipping boys of the 36-team Champions League, having followed their 5-1 hammering by Celtic with a 4-0 loss at home to Manchester City.

Defeat could again be on the cards when they visit Girona, who won their last home fixture against Athletic Bilbao.
