Tuesday's Champions League predictions

Juventus vs PSV

Juventus did not feature in the Champions League last season but they will be determined to come back with a bang when they host PSV on Tuesday.

The Turin giants have made a steady start to life under former Bologna boss Thiago Motta, although 0-0 draws with Roma and Empoli have halted their progress in Serie A.

But Tuesday's match with PSV should be more lively as the visitors have won all five of their Eredivise games this term, scoring 20 goals.

They scored in five of their six group fixtures in the Champions League last term and both teams to score looks the best bet.

Bayern Munich vs Dinamo Zagreb

Bayern Munich look as if they mean business in this season's Bundesliga, reeling off three straight wins under new manager Vincent Kompany.

And they could also flex their goalscoring muscle in a soft opening fixture against Dinamo Zagreb.

Bayern bulldozed their way past Holstein Kiel on Saturday, winning 6-1 on the road as Harry Kane bagged a hat-trick and the former Spurs striker is the pick to break the deadlock in Bavaria.

Real Madrid vs Stuttgart

Stuttgart boss Sebastian Hoeness admitted a visit to Real Madrid in the Champions League was top of the wish list for many of the club's staff and players and the Bundesliga outfit can put up a fight at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Winners of the Champions League in six of the last 11 seasons, Los Blancos should get the win and are unbeaten in their opening five fixtures in La Liga.

But Stuttgart posted a morale-boosting 3-1 win over Borussia Monchengladbach on Saturday and have scored in all five of their competitive matches this term, so they can find the net in defeat.

Sporting Lisbon vs Lille

Spearheaded by irrepressible striker Viktor Gyokeres, Sporting are a team to keep an eye on in this season's Champions League and they could be especially tough opponents in front of their own fans.

The Lisbon club have won all five of their Portuguese Primeira Liga fixtures this term, scoring 19 times and conceding only twice, and they reached the last 16 of the Europa League last term.

They have a great chance to rack up points early on with PSV and Sturm Graz to come after this clash and they can make a winning start.

Lille have lost their last three competitive matches, going down 1-0 to promoted St-Etienne on Friday.
