Defending champion Luke Humphries makes his bow on night one of the PDC World Darts Championship, a truly international evening's fare at Alexandra Palace.
Seven players bearing seven different flags will toe the oche to get the party started with world number one Humphries playing in the final match of the night against either France's Thibault Tricole or Australian Joe Comito.
Thibault Tricole vs Joe Comito predictions
French Q-School graduate Thibault Tricole looks short enough in the betting given he looked pretty ordinary in beating Mario Vandenbogaerde in round one 12 months ago.
He won the match 3-1 (11-9 in legs) with the Belgian paying the price for an abject time on the doubles.
Tricole has performed no more than okay this year but is a former WDF World Championship runner-up.
Joe Comito's occasional clashes with the top PDC stars in World Series events have always ended in drubbings, and this will be a big deal for the 43-year-old, who topped the DPA rankings.
It will be all about how the underdog handles the pressure but Comito has to be worth a nibble at 7-4 with a 1.5-set start in what could be a low-quality grind. The winner will be in line for a heavy defeat against world champion Humphries later on.

Jermaine Wattimena vs Stefan Bellmont predictions
Swiss qualifier Stefan Bellmont has endured 17 first-round exits in just 24 Players Championship appearances this season, which suggests he doesn't have enough about him to trouble Jermaine Wattimena.
Wattimena has always been hugely frustrating but having shed a load of weight this year he believes he is now fitter and better.
Proof of that came at the European Championship when he demolished Humphries on his way to a final defeat at the hands of Ritchie Edhouse.
To prove that was no fluke he beat Michael Smith, Mike de Decker and Dimitri van den Bergh to make the last eight of the Grand Slam.
It's entirely possible that he will blow Bellmont away.

J Wattimena to win 3-0

Kim Huybrechts vs Keane Barry predictions
Kim Huybrechts is a marginal favourite against Keane Barry yet the Irishman boasts a 4-0 record over the former Premier League star.
Barry beat Huybrechts 10-6 at this year's UK Open and also won three times on the Development Tour.
He has promised much for a while now without delivering but clearly boasts a good record against Czech Open finalist Kim Huybrechts. The outsider looks the better value bet.
