Luke Littler etched his name into darting history by becoming the youngest PDC World Championship winner of all time with his convincing 7-3 victory over Michael van Gerwen in Friday’s final at Alexandra Palace and the teenage prodigy is 7-4 with Coral to retain his crown in 2026.

Van Gerwen had been the previous youngest champion when he won the first of his three world titles in 2014 aged 24, but 17-year-old Littler made light work of the record and never looked back after easing into a 4-0 lead.

Having also finished runner-up to Luke Humphries on his debut in 2024, Littler’s maiden world title success is expected to be the first of many and Coral go 33-1 that he surpasses Phil Taylor’s record of 16 world title wins.

The Warrington teenager finished runner-up to Olympic 800m gold medallist Keely Hodgkinson at the BBC Sports Personality of the Year in 2024 but he is 6-4 to take the prize in 2025, ahead of 5-1 shot Lando Norris.

Luke Humphries is seen as Littler’s biggest obstacle at the 2026 PDC World Darts Championship, with the world number one 7-2 with bet365 to regain his crown, while Van Gerwen is 13-2 to finally claim a fourth world title following his runner-up efforts in 2020, 2023 and 2025.

Two-time champion Gary Anderson is 16-1 while Littler’s semi-final victim Stephen Bunting is 22-1, alongside 2021 winner Gerwyn Price.
