Bunting has the beating of Mark Webster

Matches come thick and fast as the first round of the European Championship darts concludes on Friday afternoon with eight games to get stuck into in Dortmund.

Stephen Bunting has struggled for consistency since moving to the PDC but the former two-time BDO world champion is a heavy scorer when he gets his tungsten in tune and could be a bit of value to take out Mark Webster.

The Bullet has bad memories of Webby - he missed seven darts for the match against him at the 2017 William Hill World Championship and was sent packing - but he can get a bit of revenge if he keeps his composure and should be dancing the Surfin' Bird into the second round.

Mensur Suljovic, the tournament's ante-post second favourite behind Michael van Gerwen, is 1-4 to see off Cristo Reyes while James Wade is 1-2 to see off Martin Schindler. But the biggest clash is saved for last as Adrian Lewis takes on Dave Chisnall.

Bookies are struggling to split them but Chizzy is in better form - he went out of this month's World Grand Prix to Van Gerwen despite averaging 97.78 - and is the pick to advance.
