Bangladesh v New Zealand betting preview, tip, team news & TV time
Lockie Ferguson set to play a key role for New Zealand
TV: Sky Sports Cricket/Main Event, 1.30pm Wednesday
The Kia Oval, London
New Zealand sent out a warning to the rest of the competition with a ten-wicket success over Sri Lanka in Cardiff on Saturday and are 1-3 to make it two wins from two against Bangladesh, although they can expect a sterner test.
Bangladesh have been quietly building a decent ODI side, reaching the quarter-finals at the 2015 World Cup and the semi-finals at the 2017 Champions Trophy.
They began their campaign against South Africa at the Oval on Sunday and produced a controlled all-round performance to prevail by 21 runs.
Best bets
Bangladesh thoroughly deserved their victory over South Africa and will cause New Zealand problems if they play with the same discipline and skill.
However, there are more match-winning cricketers in the Black Caps side and their confidence should be sky high after such an emphatic victory over Sri Lanka.
Little was seen of the New Zealand batting line up because openers Martin Guptill and Colin Munro polished off the 137-run target in just 16.1 overs.
But their pacy seam attack was too much for the Lankans even though opening bowler Trent Boult looked slightly below par.
Matt Henry did the damage with the new ball – taking three wickets – but may find it harder on a truer batting surface against a disciplined Bangladesh batting line up.
New Zealand will probably have to work harder for their wickets and could lean heavily on Lockie Ferguson to make the breakthroughs midway through the innings.
Ferguson bowled with plenty of pace and aggression against Sri Lanka – taking three for 22 – and looks value at 4-1 chance to top the New Zealand wickets column.
Bangladesh bowled well as a unit against South Africa but left-arm quick Mustafizur Rahman caught the eye with his three for 67 and deserves his favourite status in the top Bangladesh bowler market.
The Tigers' batting was also a team effort although Mushfiqur Rahim looked the most assured with a controlled 78 off 80 balls.
He is worth a interest at 9-2 to outscore his teammates for a second successive match.

Team news
Bangladesh
Changes are unlikely to be made after such a strong performance against South Africa. Opener Tamim Iqbal shook off a wrist injury to face the Proteas.
New Zealand
Tim Southee (calf) and Henry Nicholls (hamstring) missed the open match with minor niggles and may not be risked.
Venue
The Oval has a reputation for being batsman-friendly and three of the four scores at this World Cup have exceeded 300.
Weather
Overcast and generally dry with only a small chance of light rain. High 18C.
