West Indies vs England prediction
England were outplayed by the West Indies in their 2-1 ODI series defeat and they will be hoping for a change of fortune when the five-match T20 series starts on Saturday.
Jos Buttler, whose last appearance for England came in June's T20 World Cup semi-final defeat to India, should be fit to captain the side although opening partner Phil Salt will keep wicket.
Salt had a terrific T20 tour of the West Indies last December although his batting feats could not prevent a 3-2 series defeat for England.
Another 3-2 victory for the Windies is worth backing as England's team is a little weaker than the side who beat their hosts by eight wickets in the Super 8 stage of the T20 World Cup.
Star batsman Nicholas Pooran missed last month's tour of Sri Lanka but should return for the West Indies, who missed out on the semi-finals at their home World Cup after a narrow, rain-affected defeat to South Africa.
The first T20 takes place at the Kensington Oval, where Brandon King (102) and Keacy Carty (128 not out) sealed a comfortable eight-wicket victory for the West Indies in the third ODI.
A small bet on another century being scored could prove profitable as there are destructive T20 batters in both camps.
Salt scored back-to-back tons in last year's T20 series in the Caribbean and thumped 87 not out from just 47 balls in June's T20 World Cup clash.
Pooran's last five innings in September's CPL included scores of 93 not out, 101 and 91 not out and his blistering 98 against Afghanistan was the highest score of the T20 World Cup.
