West Indies vs England prediction

England's stand-in captain Liam Livingstone led by example in Saturday's second ODI against the West Indies, scoring a brilliant unbeaten 124 off 85 balls to seal a five-wicket win in North Sound.

Livingstone struck eight sixes from the last 25 balls he faced as England chased down 329 to set up a series decider at the Kensington Oval in Barbados.

The tourists are slight favourites to win the third ODI but the West Indies have played some excellent cricket in the first two games, bowling out England for 209 to set up a comfortable eight-wicket victory in the series opener.

Skipper Shai Hope's 117 helped the hosts recover from 12-2 to rack up 328-6 on Saturday and he merits a bet in the player-of-the-match betting.

Hope averages a shade under 50 in ODIs and was player of the series when the Windies beat England 2-1 last December. He top-scored for his side with 43 and 63 in two Bridgetown ODIs against India last year and could make another big impact on his home ground.

Young all-rounder Matthew Forde is worth supporting in the same market. He was player of the match on his ODI debut against England in Barbados last year, dismissing Phil Salt, Will Jacks and Zak Crawley with the new ball, and has taken five wickets – all of them top-six batters – in the first two games of this series.

The 22-year-old Barbadian showcased his batting potential by hitting three sixes late in the innings on Saturday, and he looks overpriced to claim the player-of-the-match award.
