England Women vs Scotland Women prediction

Scotland have struggled mightily at the T20 Women’s World Cup. They have been eliminated after losing their first three games, and things do not get any easier as they face England in their final group match.

Heather Knight’s side have won both of their games at the tournament and are as short as 1-100 to secure another victory.

England are likely to dominate from the off and it may pay to be with one of their openers to be the team's top runscorer.

Danni Wyatt was England's top scorer in their five-wicket win over New Zealand and finished just seven runs short of Nat Scriver-Brunt in the seven-wicket success against South Africa.

Wyatt has managed totals of 35, 41 and 43 in her last three innings and was the fourth-highest scorer in the women’s edition of The Hundred this summer with 227 runs.

In all three of Scotland’s World Cup games, one their opponents’ first three batters has top-scored, so it makes sense to look to England’s openers and Wyatt is fancied to carry on her strong form.

Australia face India in the day’s later game, looking to make it four wins from four group games.

The tournament favourites are a short price to secure victory, which they have done in seven of their last eight T20 internationals against India.
