Australia vs India prediction

India were dominant winners of their first Test against Australia and look overpriced to follow up with another victory in a day-night clash at Adelaide, which begins in the early hours of Friday morning.

The visitors have lost only two of their last 11 Tests in Australia and while they were beaten in their last day-night game there in 2020, just two members of that team remain.

The Australian batting line-up seemingly had no answers to the Indian seam attack in Perth as they were bowled out for 104 and 238 on the way to a 295-run loss and those struggles should be amplified by the use of the pink ball.

Jasprit Bumrah took eight wickets for 72 runs in the first Test and he could be even more potent with the ball likely to swing even more.

Pat Cummins will also have to do without key bowler Josh Hazlewood, who has suffered a side strain, while captain Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill are set to return for India.

With questions about new opener Nathan McSweeney, and Marnus Labuschagne recording seven single-figure totals in his last eight innings, there are simply too many concerns about the hosts in what will be challenging conditions.
