Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk: fight preview, odds and how to watch

The biggest fight of the year is almost upon us as heavyweight duo Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury renew rivalries in Saudi Arabia. The rematch and undercard come from the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Saturday.
Who wins? Will Usyk build on his stunning points victory at the same venue back in May to move into a 2-0 lead over Tyson and defend his IBO, WBC and WBO titles? Do you expect Fury to fire back and claim his revenge, levelling the scores at one win each?
Want to bet on Fury vs Usyk? Check out this fantastic betting offer from Parimatch, who are offering boosted 50-1 odds on Fury OR Usyk to win.

Keep reading as former professional boxer and Racing Post sports writer Frankie Monkhouse advises what to look out for when the fight gets underway in this Fury vs Usyk fight preview.
Fury vs Usyk: method of victory
The general feeling in the betting ring ahead of fight night is that Usyk vs Fury will go the distance and test the scoring judges, just as the first fight did earlier this year. That’s a sound approach, but you may wish to wait and see the tactics of both fighters.
Usyk is likely to use his boxing skills to jab and move, impressing the judges and scoring another points win. Fury tried to out-box Usyk last time by relying on his size and reach. That tactic failed, but will the Englishman go on the attack this time?
Usyk’s tactics are likely to be the same as the first fight after they served him well. We must wait and see which version of Tyson turns up. If the Gypsy King goes on the front foot and targets the knockout, just as he did in his rematch with Deontay Wilder, you can quickly back the challenger by KO/TKO in play at 11-4 with Parimatch.
Total rounds
Similar to the bet highlighted above, you can attempt to work out the tactics of Usyk and Fury before betting live on the total rounds.
If both men start fast and go looking for the big shots, it’s wise to play under in the total rounds while the fight is live. If they’re feeling each other out and remain cautious, a bet on over in the total rounds is the best approach.
Bet on Fury vs Usyk to go over 10.5 rounds at 8-15 odds with Parimatch.

When betting in-play, it’s more likely you’ll react to something Fury does as we’re unsure how he’ll approach the rematch. Be ready to act to tactics, the flow of the fight, a cut, knockdown or any major incident.
