Fury vs Usyk 2: date, betting odds and how to watch

Oleksandr Usyk famously beat Tyson Fury on points in Saudi Arabia earlier this year to take the Englishman’s WBC world title and unify the heavyweight division for the first time in almost 25 years.

Having suffered his first loss as a prizefighter, Fury is determined to get back to winning ways and end the year on a high as heavyweight champion of the world. It’s an all-or-nothing fight for both men, but when will it happen, what did we learn from the previous contest, and who is the betting favourite?

What happened last time?

After 12 pulsating rounds at the Kingdom Arena, Riyadh, Usyk beat Fury on a split decision. One judge scored the fight 114-113 in Fury’s favour, while the other two judges sat at ringside returned 114-113 and 115-112 Usyk.

The scorecards show it was a close contest that swung back and forth throughout, but most fight fans believe they got a deserving winner and new unified champion in Usyk. Some pundits believed Fury would avoid an instant rematch, taking another route instead. But the Gypsy King loves the big fights, and he’s back to right the wrongs of the first contest. Will he claim his revenge, or will it be more of the same for Usyk?

As you can see, traders working at the top betting apps strongly fancy Usyk to make it 2-0 against Fury. He’s a talented boxer who has already unified the cruiserweight and heavyweight divisions.

Unbeaten in 22 previous bouts with 14 knockout wins, ranked number one in the world, and a London 2012 Olympic Games gold medalist, Oleksandr is sure to be popular in the pre-fight betting. It’s no surprise to see the betting favour another strong win for the current champion.
